The TRUBLUE Auto Belay is a revolutionary product for the climbing industry. This system is based on a patented core technology of a non-wearing braking system with rare-earth magnets. Developed primarily as a belay device for climbing facilities, the auto-belay requires no significant maintenance thereby offering facility operators a considerable advantage over existing products. This innovative product exceeds the competition in all aspects including maintenance, performance, and quality. The unique braking system provides four great benefits for operators:
SAFETY-Fail safe design with superior life protection provision
-Internal automatic backup braking system -Brake fully engages if a component fails, eliminating the potential for climber to free fall
-Self-regulating braking mechanism (Descent rate of child of 10kg / 22lb and adult of 150kg / 330lb varies by less than 5%)
-For over four years, the TRUBLUE auto belay has undergone extensive safety testing by an ISO 9000 accredited company specializing in product testing.
-It does NOT use a one way clutch bearing.
-Gentle whirring noise: Our auto belay makes a gentle whirring noise as the climber descends, alerting those below of a descending climber.
REDUCED MAINTENANCE COSTS
-It is a non-contacting earth magnet brake system which has no wearing or sacrificial parts.
-Webbing based system: Will not damage walls like cable-based systems can. Plus, webbing is preferred by climbers over cable for its more natural feel.
-Reduced webbing wear: Unique field-replaceable webbing delivery nozzle significantly reduces webbing wear
-Low servicing requirements: Annual re-certification at a low cost of $199 is the lowest priced servicing requirement in the marketplace. The TRUBLUE has no limit on the number of cycles before annual re-certification.
